Main power supply provided is only for the spotlight and socket. Any exhibitor that will display machines and require more power will need to order via Eventplus

The use of nails, drilling and painting are NOT allowed on the syma panels. Any damaged panels will be charged at a rate of AED 100 per panel.

Terms & Conditions

50% of the invoice value shall be due and payable on confirmation, 20% two weeks prior to commencement of works and 30% upon completion and signed handover.

Should the Client cancel or reduce the Event Services seven (7) working days or less prior to the build-up date, then 100% charge of the invoice value of the Event Service order will be applied and payable by the Client to DWTC.

Exhibition Breakdown Days:

Tuesday – 9 November 2021 17:30HRS onwards Once the Halls are cleared of all visitors, dismantling can begin.
Wednesday – 10 November 2021 16:00HRS All Halls to be cleared of all stand materials, packing cases, waste and pallet trucks must be removed from the halls.

All venue related requirements can be ordered online via Eventplus . All stand designs must be submitted and approved by the Operations team prior to fabrication.

Stand Height Regulations

The maximum height for Space Only stands is as follows:

All stand designs will have to be approved by the DWTC Health and Safety team before commencement of build by the respective contractors.

FOOD SAMPLING GUIDELINES

  • Food tasting and sampling may be conducted but exhibitors and visitors must strictly comply with safety policies implemented.
  • No food may be consumed in any walkway or aisle as face masks must be worn at all times.
  • Health & Safety Marshals will strictly enforce this policy and visitors are to be aware that a penalty fine of AED 3,000 will be applied for non-compliance.
  • Food sampling and tasting can be conducted only in designated areas.
  • Face masks may be removed for this purpose but reapplied as soon as practicable.
  • Social distancing of 2m per person should be strictly followed. Maximum capacity is therefore to be calculated on 4m² per person.
  • Live cooking is allowed however food must be served on an individual disposable platter, preferably consumed whilst seated and may not be removed from the sampling area.
  • If food is prepared at the stand, there should be provision to wash hands, to clean and disinfect equipment and food contact surfaces.
  • Where a visitor wishes to take a sample from the exhibition, say for laboratory testing or external review, the food sample must be individually packed. Note that perishable items may not be removed from the exhibition under any circumstance according to the food safety guidelines already well established.
  • Sampling areas must be cleaned and sanitized before the next guest is seated.
  • Please ensure visitors do not walk aisles, eating and not wearing face mask. Both visitors and the sample provider will be held responsible for non-compliance.
  • Only touchless water dispensers are permitted. Sealed bottled water will also be allowed on stands –these are available for purchase from EventPlus.
  • Advisory signage on recommended practices for social distancing and good tasting must be placed in stands that offer food sampling.
  • Frequent hand washing, especially after any interactions with surfaces that could be contaminated.
  • Disposable hand gloves must be used while handling open foods directly and replaced appropriately.

The above practices are in addition to current Dubai Municipality guidelines for food sampling. Further information listed in the Online Exhibitor Manual.

Exhibitor Badges

Exhibitors and their personnel who need to access the exhibition halls during the event must register for an EXHIBITOR BADGE. New COVID-19 guidelines dictate a 4sqm requirement per person, therefore the number of badges available corresponds directly with space booked, as follows:

Stand size ÷ 4 = Number of badges.
Example: 12sqm ÷ 4 = 3 Badges (issued to the exhibitor)

Badges can be ordered via the exhibitor manual. Login details to the exhibitor manual will be shared once the contract has been signed and returned.

Contractor Badges

Individual & Group Contractor Badges

Contractor badges can be collected from the Main Contractor Badge Collection Point (Map available upon request) in exchange of a valid proof of identity (UAE labour card / UAE national ID card / UAE driving license/government organization ID card). This proof of identity will be kept at the cashier’s cabin at the EO Land Main Contractor Badge Collection Point until the contractor badge is returned. A group application can also be applied for a contracting company prior to build up.

Contractor badge cost: AED 20.00 per day (from 00:01 to 24:00).
Lost badge: AED 100.00 (payable at the cashier’s cabin at the Za’abeel service yard)

Temporary Contractor Badges - International Contractor Badges (non-UAE based)

All contractor staff must report to either the cashier’s cabin at the EO Land Main Contractor Badge Collection Point or at Al Wasl reception to avail of a temporary contractor badge in exchange of a passport copy. The badge will be valid for a maximum of 15 days. AED 200.00 will be charged per badge; this AED 200.00 represents an entrance fee of AED100.00 and a refundable deposit of AED100.00. The refundable deposit can be claimed upon returning the badge within 15 days from the date of payment.

Special Contractor Badges – Valid For the Open Period of the Show

Special Contractor Badges are available to Contractors by paying AED 150 per badge and can be ordered on site. However, these badges will be issued at the discretion of the Organiser and are only for the purpose of essential services to be carried out on the stands. Access will be permitted for one hour prior to the show open & one hour after the show has closed.
