Caution

Be advised, be vigilant, beware in any dealings with Expo Guide/FairGuide.com/International Fairs Directory/Inter-Fairs.com/Construct Data Verlag.

Such companies or titles are NOT associated in any way with  yummex Middle East or Dubai World Trade Centre.

Sadly, we have seen such practices in our industry for some years. These companies provide legitimate exhibition guides aimed at exhibitors across the globe, offering online listing services. They use a form which resembles an organiser’s free catalogue listing service, inviting exhibitors to complete the form for an entry in an on-line directory. Unsuspecting exhibitors who sign and return the form are then contracted into a three-year, non-retractable agreement, which could cost the exhibitor a significant amount of money, with very limited foreseeable benefits. In reality, the details are often available on the form itself, but are often too small and insignificant to be noticed. It is always wise to read all the small print before signing a contract, and if the information is impossible to read then the contract should not be signed.

Our industry association has provided some good reference materials on the subject – do take a look at

http://www.ufi.org/industry-resources/warning-construct-data/

UFI’s advice is to SIMPLY IGNORE said companies.

Our advice is to check the yummex Middle East list of official media partners published on www.yummexme.com or ask us at Yummex-ME@dwtc.com
